Job summary

The Best Connection England, Oxfordshire, Bicester is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a client in the Aylesbury area. The role involves single‑manned deliveries to clients, managing delivery paperwork, and ensuring loads are secure.

Shifts run Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 15:30 with standard and overtime pay rates. This is a temporary position with payment at £19.13 per hour before 40 hours and £28.69 per hour overtime, with a minimum of 8 hours paid per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid HGV Class 2 license preferred.
• Delivery and paperwork handling experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Single manned deliveries of products to clients and customers.
• Manage the delivery process from site to customer, including paperwork.
• Ensure loads are safe, secure and vehicle checks are completed.
• Maintain a positive professional attitude when delivering.

Our client based in Aylesbury, is looking to strengthen its busy delivery team. They are looking for a Class 2 driver, 1 year experience driving minimum, leading to permanent role.

Class 2 Driver Main duties will include:

• Single manned deliveries of the products to clients and customers
• Managing the delivery process from site to customer, including paperwork signed off from deliveries
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure, with vehicle checks completed
• Positive manner as delivering to clients and customers

Class 2 Driver Shifts:

• Working hours are between 6am - 15:30pm, Monday to Friday

Class 2 Driver Hourly pay Rates:

• Standard Pay rate is £19.13 per hour before 40 hours worked
• Overtime after 40 hours worked £28.69 per hour
• Minimum of 8 hours paid guaranteed per day
