Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Farnborough (GU14 7SS) is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Store to Home team. The role is full-time with a two-week rotating shift: Week 1 – Mon-Fri, Week 2 – Sun-Thu, starting at 11:00, totaling 40 hours per week.

You will perform multi-drop deliveries, maintain accurate time records, drive company vehicles safely, check off products, and communicate delivery ETA to customers, ensuring a five-star service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/DR/DG/BA/CD/AC/LC/TT endorsements.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph up-to-date.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service.
• Willing to undertake DBS check.
• Must be able to commute to Farnborough (GU14 7SS).

Responsibilities

• Delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on a multidrop basis – average 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drops per day in peak season.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using Tachomaster and manual entries.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation.
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and communicate any issues politely.

Here at GXO, we’re working together with B&Q and are looking for a highly experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Store to Home team in Farnborough (GU14 7SS).

You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, following a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 – Monday to Friday / Week 2 – Sunday to Thursday, with a start time of 11:00. This role is contracted to 40 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on a multidrop basis – an average of 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drops per day in peak season
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicate with in a polite and courteous manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital TachographExcellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
• Be prepared to commute to Farnborough (GU14 7SS) for the required shift pattern
