Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Burton on Trent to operate a HIAB-equipped vehicle, handling multi-drop deliveries and some direct deliveries for a leading home improvement supplier. The role requires a Class 2 licence, HIAB training, and a valid UK DCPC & Digi-tacho card, with 2 years' driving experience.

You will work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, earn £16.68–£18.69 per hour, and enjoy weekly pay with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience driving commercially with HIAB.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• Licence may have up to 6 points; endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD, IN are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 with HIAB.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries.
• Some direct deliveries.
• Carry out industry-standard vehicle checks.

Pay Rates: £16.68 to £18.69 p/h

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (additional Saturdays)

Driver: Class 2 - DBS check required - full training provided for ALLMI C5 Licence

HGV Class 2 Driver - the role & responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 with HIAB

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least2 years experience driving commercially with HIAB.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional driver you will have a good understanding of the Drivers Hours WTD and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
