Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver for our Andover depot. The role focuses on delivering products safely and providing excellent customer service while maintaining the vehicle and handling routine paperwork.

In this position you will plan routes, assist with warehouse tasks when needed, and ensure compliant handling of stock, deliveries, and returns. A Monday–Friday shift with 40 hours and KPI-based discretionary bonus is included.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driving licence for Class 2 vehicle.
• Demonstrate good safety practices and driving habits.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle for delivery by conducting operator maintenance and ensuring correct, safe loading of products.
• Complete delivery notes, return sheets and collect payments.
• Fulfil customer requests by picking up and delivering items as noted on delivery notes.
• Maintain confidentiality of premises security and operational information.
• Check run sheets and pick orders; plan routes and manage drop requirements.
• Advise customers of stock shortages or delivery issues and handle returns of empties/gas bottles safely.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and provide required check sheets to the distribution manager.
• Assist in warehouse duties when required and maintain a neat LWC Drinks uniform appearance.

Depot: LWC Andover

Overview

To deliver products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner. Responsible for the care and upkeep of your designated vehicle. To provide excellent customer service standards to every customer.

Main Duties

• The responsibility of preparing the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance, ensuring all products for delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.


• Responsible for completing delivery notes, return sheets and collecting payments.


• Execute any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.


• Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premises security and operational information.


• Responsibility for checking the run sheets and picking orders for your deliveries and routing.


• To plan your route and requirements for the drop by studying the schedule and any requests by the customer that are on the delivery note.


• Make customers aware of any stock shortages or problems with their delivery.


• Responsible for returning all empty cases and gas bottles, and ensuring that they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.


• Ensure that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to.


• To complete all required checks and ensure that check sheets are passed to the distribution manager.


• The ability to help in the warehouse when required.


• To look presentable in the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.

Please note, this role may involve physical and manual handling activities.

Knowledge and Experience

• Good safety practices and driving habits.


• Possess the correct driving licence required for the vehicle.

The role

• 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-2.30pm.


• 40 hours per week.


• £2,000 discretionary bonus dependent on KPIs, after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
