Job summary

Fuel Drivers UK Ltd is seeking a professional Class 2 Driver for our West Thurrock depot on a temp-perm basis. You will deliver products from distribution centres to customers including pubs and supermarkets, working as part of a distribution team and reporting to a Line Manager.

You will operate between 04:15 and 06:00 starts, with a 48 hour week and £21.50 per hour, plus weekly pay. The role requires safe driving, customer service focus, and collaboration with warehouse and office teams.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving experience, 2 years minimum preferred.
• Current and valid Category C driving licence (no more than 6 points).
• Current and valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers safely, on time, and in full, following all legal and company requirements.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Transport, and Office teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support yard and loading activities as required.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Carry out vehicle checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive, driver hours, health & safety, and company policies.
• Handle delivery issues professionally, escalating when needed.
• Set an example by working safely with integrity and professionalism.
• Assist with training new team members as required.
