Job summary

Temps Warrington is recruiting a Class 2 Delivery Driver for Alcester, offering a pay rate of £16.85 per hour. Shifts run Tuesday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, starting between 6:00am and 8:00am and lasting about 10 hours. You will drive, unload with a driver’s mate, and deliver to pubs and hospitality venues.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence, be 25+, have <=6 points, no endorsements, and be physically fit for heavy lifting. A professional, customer-friendly attitude is essential.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Be aged 25 or over.
  • Have no more than six points on your licence.
  • Have no licence endorsements.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy kegs and crates.
  • Be reliable, punctual and work well as part of a two-person delivery team.
  • Have a professional and customer-friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
  • Deliver beer kegs, crates and cases of alcohol to hospitality venues.
  • Complete deliveries to pubs, restaurants and other venues.
  • Carry out multiple drops during each shift.
  • Work with an experienced driver’s mate.
  • Load and unload heavy products.
  • Check deliveries and ensure correct items reach each customer.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service at every point of delivery.
  • Carry out vehicle checks and report problems.
  • Follow road safety, manual-handling and company procedures.
