Job summary

A leading food & drink wholesaler in Scotland seeks a Local Driver to join their delivery team. In this role, you will drive locally, load and unload stock, and ensure great service to customers. You must possess a Cat C / Class 2 License and have excellent interpersonal skills. The position requires 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. Competitive hourly rate of £15.98. Flexibility in working hours is encouraged.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift pattern may include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
