Job summary

Flogas is looking for an LGV Class 2 driver to deliver LPG cylinders to homes and businesses across the region. You will work as part of a supportive team, following planned routes, and ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time.

You’ll need a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and a safety-first mindset. Training available for ADR in class 2 gases; DBS check required where applicable.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 2 licence. Ideally ADR in class 2 gases, but we’ll support you to gain this if you don’t already have one.
• Driver CPC and valid Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations.
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to protecting everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing in all that you do.
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more.
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other.
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders to regular customers and new faces, on time and safely.
• Keep customers informed and take the time to chat with regulars along routes.
• Work with the team to plan routes and prepare deliveries for the day ahead.
• Comply with tachograph regulations and driving hours; maintain vehicles and paperwork.
• Uphold health, safety and wellbeing for customers and colleagues on every shift.
