Job summary

Driver Hire East London is seeking a reliable Class 1 and 2 ADR-P Driver for our East London operation. You will be responsible for safe collection and delivery of ADR-classified goods, ensuring compliance with ADR and UK road transport regulations, with early starts and steady work across London and the South East.

This hands-on role offers consistent 6:00am starts, overtime opportunities at enhanced rates, and ongoing training with ADR refreshers.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 or Class 1 licence.
• In-date ADR-P certificate (minimum in packages; tanks an advantage).
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver ADR-classified goods to customer sites across London and the South East.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery and compliance paperwork.
• Follow all ADR, health and safety, and site-specific procedures.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and act as an ambassador for the company.
• Work occasional additional hours when required to support operational demand.

• Salary: £46,000 per year (full-time)
• Start time: 6:00am
• Overtime: Available and paid at enhanced rates

Class 1 drivers can expect £20+ an hour and £26+ for overtime after 8 hours. Full time salary to be discussed at interview

What you'll need
