Job summary

Driver Hire Grangemouth is seeking an experienced Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver to join in Grangemouth on a 12-week Temp to Perm basis. The role focuses on safe delivery of LPG products, daily vehicle checks, and compliance with ADR and safety procedures.

You will handle tachographs, paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while working flexibly and supporting new drivers as needed.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV licence with valid ADR tanker certification.
• Previous tanker/LPG experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally deliver tanker/LPG products to customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, defect reports, tachographs and driver paperwork accurately.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Follow all company, ADR, health & safety and environmental procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Work flexibly to meet customer and business requirements.
• Support colleagues and assist with the training of new drivers where required.

Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver - Grangemouth - Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver to join our team in Grangemouth on a 12-week Temp to Perm basis.

The Role

• Safely and professionally deliver tanker/LPG products to customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, defect reports, tachographs and driver paperwork accurately.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Follow all company, ADR, health & safety and environmental procedures.
• Report any accidents, incidents, spillages or vehicle defects promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Work flexibly to meet customer and business requirements.
• Support colleagues and assist with the training of new drivers where required.

Pay & Benefits

• £17.70 per hour (accrued holidays) or £19.84 per hour (advanced holidays)
• Time and a half on Saturdays
• Minimum 165 hours per month
• 30 days' holiday per year, including 2 days at Christmas and 2 days at New Year
• 12-week Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate
• Location: Grangemouth

The Ideal Candidate

• Class 2 HGV licence.
• Valid ADR licence, including tanker certification.
