Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver - Roaming, based out of Exeter and covering sites across the South West. You will stay in provided hotels, with shifts roughly 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday, and occasional weekend rotas. Compelling pay includes £18.85/hr for 42.5 hours, overtime £28.28/hr, and £25 roaming bonus per day.

Mileage paid, hotels and meals provided. Role requires a valid Class 2 licence, ADR Class 2, Digi card, and DCPC, plus DBS check.

As a Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver - Roaming, you will operate from Exeter across various South West depots, delivering goods while staying in provided hotels. This temporary role offers £18.85 per hour for a guaranteed 42.5-hour week, with overtime and weekend rates at £28.28, plus a £25 daily roaming bonus. Shifts run Monday to Friday, roughly 7am to 5pm, with some weekend work on a rota. Key duties involve cylinder handling and ADR compliance. Shifts:

• Some overtime is required.

Regional work:

• Travelling time to depots from your home location paid, mileage (45p per mile), hotels provided plus meal allowances.

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence
• Digi card

Details:

• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant licences will be considered.
• The role is due to start immediately and is an ongoing position.
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
