Job summary

Kinaxia Colchester is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team in Colchester. The role focuses on delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time, with Monday to Friday tramping.

You will carry out vehicle checks, manage deliveries and collections, and communicate with the traffic office while adhering to all safety rules and regulations. A strong attitude and excellent service are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
• Complete deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules.
• Communicate effectively with the traffic office and report delays or issues promptly.
• Follow all company policies, customer requirements, and Highway Code regulations.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Comply with EU Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable.
