Job summary

CareerMakers Recruitment in BB4 is seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver for ongoing full-time work. You will deliver underlay to commercial sites, handball goods, and perform daily vehicle checks with regular overnight stays.

The role operates Monday to Friday with early starts, offering £16.00 per hour PAYE and £17.93 per hour including holiday pay, plus a £25 night-out allowance and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Ideally 2 years' experience on your driving licence.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Handballing/manual handling capability.
• Willingness to undertake regular overnight stays.
• Reliable and punctual, safety-conscious in approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver underlay to customers and sites within the designated area.
• Handballing and manual handling as part of daily duties.
• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle, complete deliveries and loading/unloading.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork.
• Ensure loads are secure and handled safely.
