Job summary

Pollock Scotrans Ltd in Grangemouth is looking for professional drivers with a UK Class 1 CE Licence to join our nationwide delivery fleet. You will perform palletised goods transports, ensure loads are secured, and maintain daily vehicle safety checks in line with our high standards.

Be prepared to stay away from home weekly (four nights) with an extra £100 per week for tramping, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. Excellent customer service, teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete nationwide deliveries and palletised goods transport using curtain-side trailers.
• Load goods securely with straps, nets and securing equipment.

• Participate in training to stay up to date with industry standards.

About The Role

• Be willing to stay away from home for four nights per week, with an additional £100 paid weekly for tramping.
• Complete a range of nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-side trailers, transporting palletised goods across multiple contracts.
• Ensure all goods are loaded correctly and securely restrained to prevent movement or damage, using straps, nets, and other suitable securing equipment.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued phone to maintain high standards of vehicle safety and reliability.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.

Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• Be willing to stay away from home on a weekly basis.
