Job summary

Pioneer Selection is actively seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join a well-established operation in Stockton-on-Tees. The role focuses on the safe transportation of hazardous materials in tanker vehicles, following ADR regulations and company procedures.

This position operates on a 4 on 4 off days pattern with the flexibility to cover night shifts as required. A full Class 1 (C+E) licence, DG/ADR knowledge, CPC, and tanker experience are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 / Category C+E licence is essential.
• Dangerous Goods / ADR experience and knowledge required.
• Previous tanker driving experience is essential.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Willingness to cover night shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 HGV tanker vehicles safely and professionally.
• Transport hazardous materials in line with ADR regulations.
• Carry out tanker deliveries to customer sites and complete documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation to a high standard.
• Communicate professionally with customers, transport teams and site staff.
• Work a 4 on 4 off days pattern with flexibility for nights.
