Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a Tanker Driver to deliver fuel safely to customer locations across the UK, upholding the brand and safety standards. You will perform vehicle checks, load and discharge products, and liaise with depots and customers to ensure accurate deliveries.

The role requires ADR, appropriate licences, Driver CPC, and a commitment to health and safety. Previous tanker/fuel experience is advantageous and a PDP is desirable.

Qualifications

• ADR qualification required.
• Class C or C+E licence depending on role.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.
• Previous tanker or fuel industry experience advantageous.
• PDP qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures and current legislation.
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Follow Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures; report incidents promptly.
• Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook and depot procedures.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately.
• Verify customer, product and delivery information; obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy and provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate delivery schedules and issues with depot teams, supervisors and customers.
• Promote company products and services as appropriate and identify additional business opportunities.
• Build positive working relationships and contribute to teamwork, safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures, delivery instructions and current legislation.
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, spills or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook requirements, depot operational procedures and company policies.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Verify customer, product and delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery where required .
• Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
• Communicate effectively with depot teams, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules, issues or discrepancies.
• Promote company products and services where appropriate and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to a culture of teamwork, safety and operational excellence.

What We’ll Need From You

• ADR qualification (essential).
• Class C or Class C+E licence , depending on role requirements.
• Driver CPC qualification .
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
