Job summary

DX Network Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV1/C+E driver for nightshift deliveries to support our DX Freight network. You will transport parcels and freight between customer premises and DX hubs, ensuring timeliness and safety.

We value drivers who are friendly, hardworking and safety-conscious, with the ability to adapt to changing routes and conditions. DX offers training and progression opportunities within a leading parcel and logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving safely and legally.
• Comply with driver hours and WTD legislation.
• Report defects promptly and perform vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to/from customers and hubs within DX network.
• Meet deadlines and manage on-road routes for time-sensitive deliveries.
• Work on a night shift and follow on-site health and safety rules.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements


• Understand and be able to comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation


• Understand and be able to carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and to be able to report defects correctly


• Must comply with on-site health and safety requirements


• Have the experience and knowledge to be able to divert cross country to and from the hub as and when signs, traffic or other conditions dictate

Qualifications

• You must hold an HGV 1/C+E Licence


• No more than 6 points on your licence and no DD/DR Code convictions


• Hold a current valid DCPC Card
