Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Class 1 (Cat CE) Night Driver based in Bournemouth/Verwood with trunk runs to the Midlands. Shifts start around 17:30–19:30, with weekends and a flexible pattern available.

Pay starts at £19 per hour with overtime after 8 hours. 2 years of Class 1 driving experience is required, along with a Cat CE licence, CPC card and Digi Tacho. Ongoing assignments and potential permanent roles are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Cat CE Licence required.
• CPC Card and Digi Tacho mandatory.
• No more than 6 points on licence (DD/IN/DR not allowed).
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete 15-minute vehicle checks and log routes.
• Use electronic system to record routes and movements.
• Drive Class 1 trunking or multi-drop work as required.
• Work trunk runs from Bournemouth/Verwood to the Midlands; days and nights available.

Class 1 (CAT CE) Night Drivers Wanted

As a Class 1 Night trunk Driver regular runs from Bournemouth and the surrounding area to the Midlands will be required. Shift start times can vary from 1730-1930.

Pay Rate from £19.00 per hour

Overtime available paid at time and a half after 8 hours.

Locations: Based in Bournemouth & Verwood

Various other Shifts and roles available:

• Class 1 (Cat CE) Days from £17ph (Multidrop Urban trailers)
• Class 1 (Cat CE) Nights from £19ph (Trunk runs)
• Class 2 (CAT C) Days from £16ph (Multidrop Pallet deliveries)

Monday to Friday and weekends available

Minimum 8 hours pay per shift!

Immediate Starts Available

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to have a current Full UK Cat CE Licence, CPC Card, Digi Tacho card.

Class 1 Driving could be various roles from trunking, tramping or local delivery work.. You will be required to complete your 15 minute vehicle checks, use an electronic system to log your routes.

2 years of Class 1 Driving experience required.
