Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers based in Dorset with regular runs to the Midlands. Shifts typically start between 17:30 and 19:30, with minimum 8 hours pay per shift and overtime after 8 hours.

Requirements include full UK Cat CE licence, CPC, Digi Tacho card, and no more than 6 points. Immediate starts available, with ongoing assignments and potential permanent roles after trial.

Qualifications

• Full UK Cat CE Licence with CPC and Digi Tacho.
• 2 years Class 1 Driving experience.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/IN/DR.
• Ability to log routes via electronic system.
• Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Complete 15-minute vehicle checks before driving.
• Trunking, tramping or local deliveries as required.
• Log routes electronically during shifts.
• Follow shift windows (1730–1930) and keep to schedules.

Job description

As a Class 1 Night trunk Driver regular runs from Bournemouth and the surrounding area to the Midlands will be required. Shift start times can vary from 1730-1930.

Pay Rate from £19.00 per hour

Overtime available paid at time and a half after 8 hours.

Locations: Based in Bournemouth & Verwood

Various other Shifts and roles available:

• Class 1 (Cat CE) Days from £17ph (Multidrop Urban trailers)
• Class 1 (Cat CE) Nights from £19ph (Trunk runs)
• Class 2 (CAT C) Days from £16ph (Multidrop Pallet deliveries)

Monday to Friday and weekends available

Minimum 8 hours pay per shift!

Immediate Starts Available

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to have a current Full UK Cat CE Licence, CPC Card, Digi Tacho card.

Class 1 Driving could be various roles from trunking, tramping or local delivery work.. You will be required to complete your 15 minute vehicle checks, use an electronic system to log your routes.

2 years of Class 1 Driving experience required.
