Job summary

XPO is seeking full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night Drivers for its Milton Keynes site on a Monday–Friday night network contract. The role offers guaranteed hours and average earnings around £42,576 per year, with overtime opportunities.

You will deliver vehicle parts to dealerships, typically 5 drops per night, with starts between 19:30 and 22:00. Benefits include a pension, holiday pay, discounts, and CPC training as part of ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (C+E entitlement).
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to around 5 drops a night to secure locations on a nightly basis.
• Overnight access to delivery sites.
• Deliveries will be made in double roll cages, with some loose items.

Are you looking for a company that’ll give you the chance to kick off your career? We’re looking for full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to join us at our site in Milton Keynes.

You’ll be working on our prestigious night network contract for Mercedes, delivering vehicle parts to dealerships. You’ll be working a minimum 48 hours per week on the Monday to Friday shift, with start time between 1930hrs and 2200hrs. In return, we’ll offer average earnings of 42,576, plus the opportunity to increase this with readily available overtime.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Delivering to around 5 drops a night to secure locations on a nightly basis deliver car parts
• You will have good access to each delivery site overnight.
• All Deliveries will be made in Double roll cages, some loose item.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
• You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
