Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.

HGV Class I (C+E) NIGHT Driver

Lincoln LN6 9BJ

Temporary / On-going [until further notice]

Immediate start

Monday to Friday

Night shifts are ad-hoc, temporary and ongoing into the New Year

Hours per shift – can be up to 15

Rate £20.00 - £22.41 per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as a Class 1 Night Driver and work with one of our largest national clients in Lincoln. Our client provides domestic and international parcel delivery for high‑volume business customers, offering end‑to‑end shipping solutions to support e‑commerce businesses.

Driver Responsibilities

• Driving a Class I vehicle, departing from LN6 9BJ – our client’s site in Lincoln.

Driver Requirements and Skills

• You must be happy to drive nights, commencing anytime between 1600 HRS and 2200 HRS.
• You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, and valid Driver CPC & DIGI Cards.
• You MUST have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 6 months and driven a Class 1 vehicle for at least 6 months prior to applying for this role.
• Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a maximum of 6 points. No other endorsements or convictions are acceptable.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, upbeat, self‑motivated, enthusiastic and resilient – attributes welcomed for this role.
• Able to work on a tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
• You must have good geographical knowledge.
