Job summary

Flogas Britain is hiring a Class 1 Barrel Driver to deliver LPG safely and on time, working field-based across the Immingham area. You will join a proudly safety-conscious team and help keep customers connected to energy with reliable deliveries.

This permanent role offers a supportive environment, training, and opportunities to develop within a large energy group. Nights out may be required depending on depot needs.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence and ADR in Tanks (minimum class 2 gases).
• Driver CPC and tachograph knowledge.
• A calm, safety-first approach to protect everyone.
• Willingness to stay flexible and support the team.
• DBS check requirement to help keep everyone safe.
• Willingness to do Nights out (Tramping) as required.

Responsibilities

• Make bulk LPG deliveries on time and safely.
• Collaborate with the team to understand routes and assist deliveries.

How you’ll power our business as a Class 1 Barrel Driver

Drivers are at the heart of Flogas. Powering our business, you’ll make bulk deliveries of LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) on time – and above all – safely, day in and day out. Because at Flogas, if it’s not safe, it’s not done. Simple. Our Drivers work together to make sure everyone in the team understands their routes, offering assistance when needed, and helping each other get ready for the deliveries and the day ahead. What we’ll need from you

• LGV Class 1 licence. Ideally, you’ll also have an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases.
• Driver CPC and valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to ensuring everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing is protected in all that you do
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.
• A flexible approach to helping our customers as Nights out (Tramping) will be required as part of this role (Depending on Depot)
