Job summary

Flogas Britain is seeking a Class 1 Barrel Driver to join our nationwide LPG delivery team. You’ll deliver bulk LPG to customers, ensuring safety and on-time arrivals while supporting depot operations. The role requires a Class 1 licence, CPC, and a DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence (essential).
• ADR in Tanks preferable (minimum class 2 gases).
• Driver CPC and valid Tachograph Card; knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations.
• Calm, unflappable approach with commitment to health, safety and wellbeing.
• Willingness to stay in touch with the team and remain flexible for night shifts/Tramping.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check for safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) in bulk safely and on time.
• Support depot operations and help other team members with routes and deliveries.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with safety regulations.

What We’ll Need From You

• LGV Class 1 licence. Ideally, you’ll also have an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gases.
• Driver CPC and valid Drivers Digital Tachograph Card, plus a sound knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations
• A calm, unflappable approach, and a commitment to ensuring everyone’s health, safety and wellbeing is protected in all that you do
• A willingness to keep in touch with the team and stay flexible, so together, we can do more
• A keenness to learn new ways of doing things so we can keep doing right by our customers and each other
• A willingness to have a DBS check that helps keep you, our customers and our people safe.
• A flexible approach to helping our customers as Nights out (Tramping) will be required as part of this role (Depending on Depot)
