Job summary

Forde Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for LGV C+E drivers to operate from a flagship Sheffield site, delivering products nationwide to RDCs. You will handle transport administration, maintain temperature specs, and comply with driver hours regulations while enjoying long shifts and a supportive on-call team.

We offer immediate starts, ongoing shifts, paid holidays, weekly pay, and on-site parking, with opportunities to progress to permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Hold a full HGV C+E driving licence.
• Minimum of 24 months' driving experience for DNI.
• Good level of English speaking and written communication.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted).
• Possess UK Driving Licence, Digi Tachograph Card, and CPC Card.
• Drive an HGV - Class 1 vehicle.
• No handballing required.
• Immediate starts.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport products nationwide to RDCs.
• Complete transport administration and ensure compliance with EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations.
• Maintain temperature specifications during transportation and adhere to safe systems of work.
• Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks.
