Job summary

Extra Men Limited are recruiting experienced Class 1 PM drivers around the Runcorn area to support a trusted client in the DIY & home improvement sector. The role involves trunking work to Scotland, delivering trailers and returning with empties.

Start times are typically around 16:00 with Monday and Friday availability essential; we can consider drivers seeking a few days per week as long as Monday and Friday are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Licence held and used for over 1 year
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
• Punctual, reliable, and respectful of others time
• Must be okay with handball / physical work

Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 PM drivers around the Runcorn area. This job will be to support one of our most trusted clients which are one of the UKs leading names in DIY & Home improvement products.

The Role

We are looking for drivers to cover trunking work to Scotland, delivering trailers and returning with empties.

Monday and Friday availability is essential, with a typical start time of around 16:00. Ideally, we are looking for drivers available Monday to Friday, however we would also consider someone looking for just a few days' work each week, provided that Monday and Friday are included in their availability.

• 10 hours minimum pay per shift (including paid break)
• Overtime paid after working for 10.35 hours
• Monday to Friday
• Start times typically 16:00
• Daily bonus also available; amount varies depending on start time

An on-site assessment is required prior to starting, which includes both theory and practical. Once completed, and your availability and preferred start window are confirmed, work will be consistent and ongoing.
