Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers based in Nottingham to join on an ongoing basis. Work involves depot-to-depot nights with early start times 06:00–08:00.

You must hold a Class 1 licence, up-to-date CPC and Digi card, and be reliable with a professional appearance and strong communication. Shifts offer pay rates including £16.00 per hour PAYE, £18.50 umbrella, rising to £20–£22.50 for weekend hours, with Sundays at £22 PAYE and £24.50 umbrella.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 for depot-to-depot runs.

Our long established logistics client based Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work, box trailors, no handballing, timed deliveries, so no messing around on the shifts, clear communcation is requried with the transport team as well.

Start Times available - 0600am to 0800am

Licence requirements:

HGV Class 1 Licence

Up to date CPC for your Class 1

Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic

Be punctual

Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)

Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard

Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

Days per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.50 ph (Umbrella)

Saturdays per hour: £20.00 ph (PAYE), £22.50 ph (Umbrella)

Sundays per hour: £22.00 ph (PAYE), £24.50 ph (Umbrella)
