Job summary

NextGear Recruitment is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for our ongoing Coalville client in Leicestershire. The role covers trunking and general haulage, with weekend work and two shift patterns (Mon–Sat or 4 on/4 off). Immediate starts are available and there may be temp-to-perm opportunities.

Drivers should have a valid Class 1 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and Curtainside/pump truck experience. A reliable, professional approach and good road knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with no serious endorsements.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and tachograph card.
• Good communication and knowledge of UK road network.
• Curtainside experience and pump truck operation.
• Reliable, professional approach and flexible weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 trunking and general haulage work.
• Operate a pump truck as required.
• Deliver service safely and professionally with customer focus.
• Weekend availability for Monday-to-Saturday pattern.
• Be open to ongoing assignments with potential temp-to-perm.
