Job summary
Noble Foods in Thornton, Kirkcaldy is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver on a 4 on / 4 off rota for daily day shifts. The role involves collecting goods from farms and delivering to the packing centre, with manual handling and self-loading/unloading using an electric pallet truck.
You will drive professionally, comply with CPC and tachograph rules, and work independently within a supportive transport team. The position offers guaranteed hours and progression opportunities within a family-owned
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license is required.
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
- Physically able and willing to perform manual handling.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Previous farm or hands-on work experience beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Collect goods directly from farms.
- Some manual handling required.
- Self-load and unload using an electronic pallet truck.
- Ensure safe, professional driving and compliance at all times.
- Practical, active driving role with varied duties beyond driving.
