Job summary

Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for Class 1 / HGV 1 Drivers to work out of their client based in Stoke on Trent. Pay rate £17.98PH - £35.46PH. Days of work – 7 day operation, work 5 out of 7 days, AM & PM Shifts available. Location – Stoke on Trent. Duration – ongoing.

Full UK Driving Licence and CPC & Digi Card are required with no more than 6 points; HGV Licence held for 2 years. This role is ongoing and suitable for flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) HGV on planned trunking routes.
• Complete depot-to-depot trunking work as scheduled.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure the vehicle and trailer are operated safely and responsibly
