The Best Connection Group is recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join the DHL site in Stoke. This long-term, ongoing role offers immediate starts, with flexible patterns (part-time or full-time) and a mix of store deliveries, trunking, or a combination of duties.

Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply; some double-deck trailer work exists. Shifts include night, day, and mixed start times, with varying pay rates.

Formación

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• Newly passed drivers welcome to apply.
• Experience with double-deck trailers preferred but not essential.
• Confident using pallet trucks.
• Good level of physical fitness.

Responsabilidades

• Completing store deliveries with 2–4 drops per shift.
• Deliveries involve unloading palletised stock using an electric pump truck via a tail lift.
• Store colleagues will take deliveries from the tail lift into the store.
• Straightforward trunking work is available.

Class 1 Drivers Required - Immediate Starts, Ongoing Work

The Best Connection Group are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our busy DHL site based in Stoke. This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with immediate starts available.

We offer flexible working patterns to suit your availability - whether you're looking for part time or full time work, different start times, store deliveries, trunking or a combination of different duties, we want to hear from you!

Newly passed Class 1 drivers will also be considered.

Flexible Working Opportunities

• 1 to 5 days per week based on your availability
• Monday to Friday work
• Part time and full time drivers required

• Store deliveries OR trunking available
• Drivers looking for a combination of duties are welcome to apply

About the role:

• Completing store deliveries with occasional collections. (2 - 4 drops per shift)
• Deliveries involve unloading palletised stock using an electric pump truck via a tail lift.
• Store colleagues will take deliveries from the tail lift into the store.
• Straightforward Trunking work available
• Some vehicles are double-deck trailers, although previous experience operating these is not essential.
• Trunking and other driving duties are also available

Pay Rates:

• Hours worked between 22:00-06:00 - £21.24 per hour
• Hours worked between 06:00-16:00 - £17.70 per hour
• Hours worked between 16:00-22:00 - £19.47 per hour
• Bank Holiday - £26.55 per hour

Requirements:
