Direct Recruitment Services is recruiting multiple Class 1 Tramper Drivers for a long-term, full-time contract starting soon. The role involves driving bulk tipper wagons with a weekly pattern: starting Monday at Preston, away for the week, returning Friday.

Applicants should have Class 1 tipper experience, CPC and Digi-Tacho, and be available for a paid training/assessment day before start. A high hours contract with potential continued work beyond this year is offered.

Job description

Direct Recruitment Services are looking for multiple Class 1 Tramper Drivers, with experience driving Bulk Tipper Wagons, for a long term/full time contract starting Wednesday 21st OctoberThe starting point each week will be in Preston, and then you will be away for the week and returning on Friday, working as a tramper.

You will need to have previous experience of driving Class 1 tipper wagons, and be able to make yourself available prior to the start date - for a training / assessment day (which will be paid)There will be plenty of hours available on this contract and it is expected to run until the end of the year - with potential for further work into next year

Pay rates below are to be paid via PAYE (holiday pay rolled up):

• £18 p/h
• £23 p/h Overtime (after 43 hours worked & Saturdays)
• £25 per night - night out money

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC and Digi-Tacho card
