Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco, is hiring a Part Time Class 1 Driver in Grantham to join its delivery team. You will transport ambient, chilled and frozen goods to depots, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries and compliance with food hygiene standards.

The role is 18 hours per week with start times from 15:00 to midnight on Sundays and Fridays. You will maintain accurate loading records and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Class 1 driver is essential.
• CPC qualification and compliance with safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support depots.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to depots safely and on time.
• Maintain load plans and accurate records to support operations.

A key member of our driving team, you’ll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled and frozen products to other depots. You’ll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest food hygiene standards. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans and building positive relationships with your colleagues.
