Job summary

XPO Logistics in the United Kingdom invites applicants to join its Driver Programme designed to bridge the gap between gaining your Class 1 licence and becoming a confident professional driver. You will train on site, shadow experienced drivers, and start earning from day one.

During training you will earn £15.00 per hour; after passing you move to professional rates £17.56–£21.47 per hour, depending on shift pattern. The role offers pension, holiday pay, and flexible shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• A valid C+E (Class 1) licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Learn hands-on driving skills during the Driver Programme.
• Shadow experienced Class 1 drivers and follow site procedures.
• Develop safe driving, load securing and paperwork practices.
