Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking a delivery driver for local collections and deliveries. The role involves loading/unloading, maintaining delivery documentation, and coordinating with the office for future schedules. You will be expected to comply with driving regulations and keep vehicles in good condition.

FLT license is advantageous; a Class 1 licence, valid tachograph and CPC card are required. This is a permanent on-site position with regular overtime and training provided.

Qualifications

• FLT license advantageous.
• Driving license entitlement of Class 1.
• Valid digital tachograph and up to date CPC card.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general local collections and deliveries.
• Communicate with the office to arrange future pick-ups and deliveries.
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods.
• Complete and maintain documentation relating to freight, collections and deliveries.
• Comply with all relevant driving legislation and procedures to ensure a safe and legal work environment.
• Ensure company vehicles are kept clean and in good working order.
• Work in a safe manner; promote health, safety and environmental policies.
