Job summary

Swift Recruitment is staffing for a Class 1 Driver role in Colchester. Start ASAP with many hours and a high pay rate up to £25.02 per hour. Ongoing work with potential permanent placement for proven performers. Flexible availability requested weekly.

Role requires CPC and Digi-Tacho card validity and a clean, in-date driving license. Expect mixed routes including local drops and longer runs with early starts and Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• Good level of English communication with customers and client.
• Hardworking and dedicated Class 1 Driver with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicle to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Manage own work to maintain performance standards.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers and clients.
• Perform local drops, hub runs, long distance trips; 3-7 drops per day.
