Job summary

R&V Group is seeking Class 1 drivers for trunking and double decker operations in the UK. Flexible start times and ongoing work with competitive pay are offered in a friendly environment that emphasizes skill development.

Responsibilities include delivering to specified locations, completing paperwork, adhering to health and safety rules, and maintaining knowledge of transport operations. Drivers must meet licensing, NI, and right-to-work requirements with a good command of English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving.
• National Insurance Number.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good level of English.
• Flexibility in starting times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver company and third party products to locations according to the schedule.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
