Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver for our Wednesbury-based operations. This role offers full-time and part-time options with flexible hours to suit you, located in Wednesbury, West Midlands.

Responsibilities include safe operation of Class 1 vehicles, on-time deliveries with 2–3 drops daily, daily vehicle checks, and accurate documentation. You will follow UK driving regs and provide excellent customer service on delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations.
• Strong safety awareness and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles.
• Deliver goods on schedule, typically 2–3 drops per day, with no handball.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Accurately document all deliveries and collections.
• Comply with drivers' hours and tachograph rules.
