Job summary

DPD Preston is seeking a Category C+E Driver to join our nationwide transport network in Preston. The role focuses on multi-drop routes, precise timing, and compliance with digital tachograph and transport regulations.

You will load, unload, and deliver securely while representing the DPD brand with professionalism. The position runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:45, offering strong growth within a sustainability-driven, employee-focused company.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months recent experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• A current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• You’re reliable, safety-conscious, and align with our DPD DNA: Passion, Respect, and Accountability.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, logistics-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area, achieving time sensitive deliveries and predetermined collection schedules.
• Ensure time-critical scheduling requirements are met while upholding world-class service standards.
• Maintain meticulous digital journey records and full compliance with tachograph and transport regulations.
• Proactively participate in safe loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring freight integrity and security.
• Represent the DPD brand professionally, maintaining a positive corporate image in all interactions.
