Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow & Hemel Hempstead is recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing haulage work in Slough. This full-time, temporary contract involves collections and deliveries across multiple sites, loading and securing cargo, completing paperwork, and adhering to transport regulations.

Shifts start between 04:00–07:00 or 16:00–20:00, seven days a week, with pay at £16.50 per hour Mon–Fri and £18.00 on weekends. Reliability and flexibility are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• No IN or DR endorsements.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho.
• Reliable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out haulage collections and deliveries to various locations
• Loading/unloading and securing loads where required
• Completing delivery paperwork and following site procedures
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Working safely and in line with transport regulations
