Job summary

The Best Connection are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our client’s established transport operation in Birstall. The role is full-time with an ongoing contract and a Monday-to-Friday shift pattern.

Drivers will handle local and distance deliveries, loading/unloading as required, and are expected to provide excellent customer service while maintaining health and safety standards and punctual, reliable work practices.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E (Class 1) licence with at least 1 year driving experience.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of unloading if required.
• Health & safety standards adherence.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicles for general haulage.
• Complete local or distance deliveries safely.
• Assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Deliver goods with excellent customer service.
