Job summary

DPD UK is hiring a Category C+E Driver to join our nationwide transport network from Snetterton, Norfolk. This permanent role offers 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with a 00:30 - 09:15 shift and time-critical deliveries across a local area.

You’ll hold a UK driving licence CE, a CPC card, and a tachograph card, with at least 6 months LGV C+E experience. We promote from within and provide a market-leading benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months recent experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• A current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area, achieving time-sensitive deliveries and schedules.
• Ensure time-critical scheduling requirements while upholding the company's standards for world-class service.
• Maintain meticulous digital journey records, ensuring compliance with tachograph and transport regulations.
• Proactively participate in the safe loading and unloading of trailers, maintaining freight integrity.
• Act as a professional ambassador for the DPD brand and maintain a positive corporate image.

This pivotal role is central to our nationwide transport network, focusing on the precise and efficient management of high-volume logistics operations.

• The Route: Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area successfully achieving time sensitive deliveries and predetermined collection schedules
• Service Excellence: Ensure strict adherence to time-critical scheduling requirements while upholding the company's standards for world-class service.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintain meticulous and accurate digital journey records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant digital tachograph and transport regulations.
• Freight Management: Proactively participate in the safe and secure loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring freight integrity and security throughout transit.
• Brand Representation: Act as a professional ambassador for the DPD brand, exhibiting a flexible, solution-oriented approach and maintaining a positive corporate image in all interactions.

• The License: Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
