Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver to operate curtain side, box, and refrigerated trailers across UK routes. You will ensure loads are secured, perform daily safety checks, and stay in close contact with the transport team to meet customer expectations.

With a 4 on 4 off rota and starts between 04:00 and 07:00, the role offers a competitive £17.50 per hour plus a night uplift of £2.75 per hour for night hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Operate curtain side, box trailers and refrigerated units to diverse retail locations.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly with straps and nets.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks and keep records.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team to update progress.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay aligned with industry standards.
