Job summary

A major parcel delivery network in Woking is looking for Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for ongoing temporary work. Responsibilities include trunking between depots and unloading cages. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience and recent digi card history. Pay rates range from £19.69 to £23.86 per hour depending on the class of driving and time of day.

Job description

Overview

Driver Support Services has the opportunity of Class 1, Class 2 work with our client in Woking for their peak period, who is a major parcel delivery network. This is Temp on-going work.

Responsibilities

• Trunking depot to depot with cages; cages will need to be unloaded (loaded on occasion).
• Your shifts will be sent on an online platform called Joined Up.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in Class 1, need recent digi card history.
• Infringements will be checked before assessment: more than 10 overall in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers hours you will not be able to assess.
• No more than 3 points for Speeding convictions only.
• An assessment will be arranged and a DBS check is needed which will be arranged for you.

Pay and Hours

• Class 1 days £20.94ph - £22.48ph depending on start/finish times
• Class 1 Nights £23.86ph
• Class 2 Days £19.69ph - £21.23ph depending on start/finish times
• Class 2 Nights £22.60ph
