Job summary

Savanna Staff Solutions Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for ongoing assignments across London and the South East, including Heathrow, Hounslow, Park Royal, Greenford, Slough and Woking. You will transport Mail on cages and handle on-site loading duties as required.

Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence, CPC Digi card, and have at least 1 year of driving experience on the road, with the ability to pass a driving assessment. A good level of English is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have UK driving licence held for minimum 1 year.
• CPC Digi card required with knowledge on manual entry.
• Ability to pass driving assessment with a blind reverse.
• Good English to communicate with transport offices.

Responsibilities

• Transport Mail on cages to UK depots.
• Assist with offloading on loading bays.
• Perform trailer swaps as required.
• Standby driver when needed.

Class 1 Driver

Savanna Staff Solutions are proudly supplying Class 1 Drivers in support of the most Well-known Postal service in the world, driving their Big Red Trucks.

We need multiple Class 1 Drivers for different sites Heathrow, Greenford, Park Royal, Woking, Hounslow and more!

Your Daily Class 1 Driver duties will include:

• Transport of Mail on Cages (York’s) to various mail depots round the UK
• Possible offloading of yorks on loading bays
• Possible trailer swaps
• Possible stand by driver

To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role, you must be in the UK and have right to live and work in the UK before applying.

• Current UK/Ireland Driving Licence held for minimum 1 years (Insurance purposes)
• Current CPC card Digi card with the knowledge on manual entry
• Experience on the road and be able to pass a driving assessment with a blind reverse
• Have Good English to communicate to transport offices in English

Our client is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join their busy team for ongoing assignments for the rest of the year and possibly into next year at:

• Park Royal/London
• Hounslow/Jubilee
• Slough/Heathrow Depot
• Greenford Depot
• Woking
