Job summary

DPD Sheffield is seeking a Class 1 driver with CE entitlement to join our nationwide logistics network. This permanent role offers a stable 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a shift from 09:00 to 17:45 and a focus on safe, timely deliveries across local routes.

You will hold a UK driving licence with CE, a CPC Card, and a Digital Tachograph Card, plus at least 6 months LGV C+E experience. The role emphasizes reliability, professionalism and brand representation within a sustainability-minded

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months recent experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• A current UK CPC Card.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across local area with time-sensitive targets.
• Maintain adherence to time-critical scheduling and company standards for service quality.
• Maintain digital journey records and comply with tachograph and transport regulations.
• Assist in safe loading/unloading of trailers and ensure freight integrity.
• Act as a professional ambassador for the DPD brand with a flexible, solution-oriented approach.
