Job summary

Major Recruitment Bristol is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for store delivery in Severn Beach. This ongoing, long-term role offers early starts and a 5 days over 7 rota, with ongoing shifts from around 3am–9am and depots departing around 5am–6am.

You will transport goods to retail stores, ensure safe loading, complete paperwork, and adhere to UK road regulations. A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC are required, with at least one year of Class 1 experience and a clean driving

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Previous store delivery experience.
• Clean and reliable driving record.
• Good knowledge of UK road regulations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely and efficiently to retail stores.
• Deliver within allocated time slots and obtain proof of delivery.
• Ensure loads are secure and handled with care.
• Comply with all UK driving laws and safety standards.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects promptly.
• Typically 1-5 drops per shift.

HGV Class 1 Driver - Store Delivery - Retail

Start times 3am - 9am - most likely leave depot around 5am-6am

HGV Class 1 Store Delivery role based in Severn Beach. Ongoing, long-term opportunity with immediate starts available.

Shift Pattern:

• 5 days over 7 rota - weekends will be included (must be able to work)
