Qualifications

Job description

Class 1 Driver

Gatwick RH20 • Pay rate: £18.49 - £20.08 • Full time hours/ Part time & weekend work available

Driver responsibilities:

• You will usually drive the longer routes in waves
• You will be expected to ensure the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to their clients and other sites in the clients network, keeping the paperwork updated
• Vehicle checks and the securing loads

Driver requirements:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement
• Have no more than 6 penalty points (no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes) on your licence
• Hold a driver's CPC and digital tachograph cards that are valid and in date
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment
• Excellent communication skills
• A safety-first mindset
• Reasonable physical fitness

Driver Pay:

• Class 1 Days - £18.49
• Class 1 Nights - £20.08

* These pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay
