Job summary

Ourbob is seeking a Class 1 Driver for ongoing PM shifts in Leicester. The pay rate is between £16.44 and £18.43 per hour and includes holiday pay. You'll be driving a Class 1 vehicle primarily for trunking work, with an emphasis on safety and adherence to WTD regulations.

Applicants must hold a Class 1 Driving Licence, UK DCPC card, and a valid Digi-tacho card. Immediate starts are available, along with competitive salary and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class 1 Driving Licence.
• UK DCPC and valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Up to 6 points on your licence accepted except DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 1 vehicle.
• Perform trunking between Leicester and Edmonton.
• Follow site safety procedures.

Shifts: Ongoing work - PM Shifts (15:00 - 23:45) - Four day working week

Roles & Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 1 vehicle
• Walking floor trailers
• Trunking between Leicester and Edmonton
• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
• All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you

• You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence.
• You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
• You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
• We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
