Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for flexible afternoon and night shifts. Overview

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for our Internationally known client in Leeds [LS27].

Shifts

• We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon / night shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available and is optional
• Average 12 hour shift

Pay & Benefits

• Monday to Friday: £21.46 per hour *
• Saturday: £27.47 per hour *
• Sunday: £30.53 per hour *

* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

Main Duties

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver Requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
