Job summary

Tall Grass Recruitment is seeking a dependable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Day Driver for ongoing work in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This position offers a classic Monday to Friday scaffold with start times to suit operations and a steady weekly pay cycle.

The role focuses on general haulage using curtain-sided trailers, with an emphasis on safety, reliability and customer service. A CPC and Tachograph card are required, with experience preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Previous curtain-sider experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) day shifts on curtain-sided trailers.
• Carry out general haulage tasks as required.
• Follow Monday to Friday schedule with start times to suit operational needs.
• Maintain safety, compliance and professional service for customers.

We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Day Drivers on behalf of our client based in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role:

• Class 1 (C+E) day shifts
• General haulage work
• Curtain-sided trailers
• Monday to Friday
• Ongoing work available
• Start times to suit operational requirements

Pay:

• £19.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
